Jean-Claude TRON Born in Champagne sur Oise, France where he still resides, Jean-Claude Tron began to paint at age 13. His first exhibition took place in 1972, followed by numerous commissions and more successful exhibitions in several prestigious art galleries. It was in 1990 that Jean-Claude dedicated himself to painting. Since then his reputation as a serious painter has grown steadily in Europe and in the United States where his oil paintings are in constant demand. Jean-Claude is passionate about the southen region of France in particular Provence - his source of inspiration - where he still resides. The extravagance of color in his palette shows the influence of Fauvist Expressionism - brilliant yellows, deep Azure blue, strong reds, shades of violet and a touch of green in his Provencal landscapes. He unexpectedly makes a contrast of chromatic violence with extreme gentleness and an unpredictable mood. In spite of all these varieties you can instantly recognize a TRON painting. His artwork is acclaimed worldwide and can be seen in many private and public collections. Gallery 1000 exclusively represents Jean-Claude TRON in California.
