Lisa Palombo Member: Oil Painters of America Lisa Palombo began her formal art education at age nine by spending her summers at the acclaimed Rhode Island School of Design. She later graduated from that school with honors and proceeded to study Fine Art at the European Honors Program in Rome, Italy. Her current work consists of impressionistic style landscapes, beach scenes, gardens, stll lifes and florals. Lisa says her paintings are both a challenge and a reward for her. "I have always felt connected to the world of nature. The land, sea, trees, flowers and sky seem to speak to me. I enjoy letting my hand interpret what my eye is seeing. In a way, my paintings are a visual diary of my life's journey and experiences. By recording these special elements and moments on canvas, I hope to bring the majesty and spirit of nature indoors." Lisa Palombo is a well recognized artist and her oil paintings are in private and corporate collections throughout the United States and Europe. Her paintings grace over 40 book covers, including several New York Times best sellers. She has received numerous awards and honors. She is listed in the National Museum of Women in Arts, Washington D.C. and Marquis Who's Who in American Art. Gallery 1000 exclusively represents Lisa Palombo in California.
