Michel Guyon Michel Guyon was born in 1947 in Nantes, France where he still resides. There he studied at the Beaux Art School. In the seventies, he became passionately involved in theatrical design while working with the Anger Opera House. This led him to create and design the stage, costumes and posters for operas such as: Noces de Figaro, The Magic Flute, Don Giovani, Carmen, Faust, among others. He also worked for the Jean Marais festival and the Francis Huster Companie - "les treteaux de France". It was during his involvement with theatres and festivals that he cultivated his talent - painting. A Michel Guyon painting is a mixture of poetry and movement glazed with a strong touch of color of operas, la belle epoque, le cirque, Venice festivals all of which he knows by heart. He has had seveal successful shows and his paintings can be seen in public and private collections in France, all of Europe and the United States.
